Celebrating the Next Generation: California FarmLink’s 20th Anniversary

Celebrating the Next Generation: California FarmLink’s 20th Anniversary

California FarmLink was launched 20 years ago, rooted in a vision for conserving working lands and supporting the next generation of farmers and ranchers.
Help us celebrate 20 years!  Join us for dinner at the San Francisco Ferry Plaza.
Celebrating the Next Generation: California FarmLink’s 20th Anniversary

at The Slanted Door on Wednesday, September 25th at 8:00 pm
(right after our event with CUESA – see below)

Enjoy great food and conversation, and connect with farmers and members of our staff and board of directors. We invite you to learn about our work deconstructing farmers’ barriers to entry in agriculture, and opportunities to build wealth in sustainable and organic food and farming. Explore ways that we can work together to help farmers establish secure land tenure and build economic and environmental resilience.

Tickets to “Celebrating the Next Generation” benefit California FarmLink. Seating is limited. Register for dinner today!

We’re starting the celebration by looking forward, and listening and learning from farmers.

Join in the conversation, in collaboration with CUESA, at the San Francisco Ferry Plaza on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Together we are co-hosting a panel discussion: The Food Change | Sowing an Equitable Future for Farmers. “For most farmers, challenges include access to affordable land, capital, and markets. But what if you are an under-resourced first-time farmer? How can we address structural barriers for women, people of color, immigrants, and other underserved communities who are stewarding the land while bringing good food to our tables?” – CUESA

Farmers leading the conversation include Marsha Habib, Oya Organics, Ge Moua, Moua’s Farm, Chanowk Yisrael, Yisrael Family Urban Farm, and Javier Zamora, JSM Organics.

To purchase tickets for “The Food Change” discussion, register directly with CUESA. We hope to see you there!
