140 acres of rangeland available for lease or cropshare in the Livermore Valley. Currently set up as a horse training facility with infrastructure in place to handle 52 horses, but poperty is well suited for other enterprises. Majority of land is rangeland ideal for goat grazing (there is a growing market in the area for goat meat). High value, closed loop hydroponics or aquaponics, compost, vermiculture, honey and mead, etc. are also possibilities. In addition, Alameda County is developing agrivoltaics policy that will open-up thousands of acres of land to mandatory dryland agriculture that integrates regenerative soil strategies with conservation strategies.
