San Diego #5402
Currently has 220 Haas avocado trees. 10 -12 years old.
We are keeping them topped and they are planted high density spacing.
Using city water.
At one time there were 400 trees.
All of property is on a slope.
Soil is sandy loam.
We put in a well 1 1/2 years ago. But it’s too high in chlorides for Avocados (250 -290 PPM).
Other than that the water is pretty good for general plant life.
Well produces about 300 gallons a minute.
You would take over the avocado trees and you would have about 4 acres to plant something else.
