Santa Cruz #2299
Listing ID: Santa Cruz #2299
Description:
3 acres of farmland in Santa Cruz County for lease/partnership/work exchange.
We need your background in regenerative agriculture/permaculture/ and/or biodynamics to help develop our 6 acre estate in Santa Cruz county. This is a rare opportunity for an enterprising person with imagination and energy. We’re open to a variety of partnerships but we think this may be most likely to succeed with part-time work on our business needs and part-time work starting or hosting your business here. (Flowers / Medicinals / or ?). We’re not interested in cannibis. The work is extremely varied in nature and can involve physical farming labor one morning and social media computer time the next. You would be working with and/or for the female owner/farmer.
In addition to helping us develop our farm estate as a business, we’ll also need some homestead chores that keep our little community running (my family(5), wwoofers, eco-tourism, farm help, etc). We have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, llamas, and sheep. You would live in a tiny home with a large private yard just a few minutes from Capitola Beach.
Students and graduates of CASFS Internship program encouraged to apply.
NOTE: “You” in the question below regarding family living on the property refers to property owners, who live part-time on the ranch and also have a residence and art gallery in Santa Barbara, CA.
