Description:

Three-quarters of an acre established blueberry farm on six acre property available to lease near Sebastopol. Looking for an existing farmer who would like to add this farm to their operations. Farm is fully equipped and certified organic by CCOF.
Blueberry farm has been operational for 13 years and currently 400 plants established and in production. Typically 1,000+ lbs. of berries harvested. Farmer is currently selling berries wholesale through a foodhub, but great potential through direct marketing as addition to CSA share, via farmers market, etc.
Water for blueberries available from an independent well, and all irragation and timers in place. Property has perimeter fencing and blueberries are also fenced and completely netted to protect from birds. Barn with processing space and cold storage available. A local beekeeper currently maintains 2-3 hives on the property, and pollinator plants also in place.
Landholder lives on the property and is willing to mentor a farmer who would like to lease and take over management of the operation.
