Up to 165 acres of certified organic farmland available for lease in Gilroy! Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) is accepting bids to lease land for organic farming. The land is located within Valley Water’s Carnadero Preserve, approximately two miles south of Gilroy (east of Highway 101, north of Betabel Road exit.) Valley Water is open to leasing smaller portions of the available acreage. Organic certification required.

Offering initial lease term of 5 years, with option to renew four (4) additional terms of five (5) years each term for a total of 25 years. Asking $1,000 per acre per year for the irrigated acreage and $400 per acre per year for the dry land.
